Wyrick Farms is a family farm in Central Kansas, located seven miles north and one mile west of Haviland.
We have been guiding wild pheasant, quail, and whitetail deer hunts for over 20 years.
Greg Wyrick, owner and operator, taught physical education and coach middle and high school sports for over thirty years before retiring to pursue full time life on the farm. His wife, Deb, keeps the books, orders supplies for the hunts and lodge, and as camp cook puts together one mean lasagna. Greg's sons Logan and Jordan cut their teeth hunting and guiding hunts. Sam Wyrick, Greg's brother is head guide and understands working dogs and hunting wild pheasants better than just about anyone around. While not true Wyricks, our associate guides Brian Hughes Brett Houk are top hands and just like family.
We work year round building habitat, filling feeders, and maintaining water holes on our private acreage. We spend time daily training and exercising our "pack" of German Shorthaired Pointers, always keeping them in prime shape for the upcoming season.
